Our daily schedule follows a similar routine each day, but I flexibly follow the children's interests as we balance time spent in free play with time spent in learning activities and we will flexibly follow the weather as we balance time outside with time inside.
Meals
I participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) which is a federal program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture through the Nebraska Department of Education. This program reimburses me for feeding the children according to the CACFP nutrition guidelines. I post my menu each week on my refrigerator.
I serve:
Breakfast 8 am
Lunch 11 am
Snack 3:15 pm
Rest Times
We have a regular afternoon nap time of 12:30-3 pm. Children nap in our bedrooms and those children who wake up first or who don't nap play quietly in the playroom.
Daily Reports
I will provide a written sheet listing eating, napping, and diapering/toileting each day. I will also send you an e-mail each day at nap time with pictures of what your child did that morning.
